To date, Professor Holmes has received funding from CIHR and SSHRC to be a principal investigator for research on risk management in the fields of public health, psychiatric nursing, and forensic nursing. After completing his BSc (Ottawa, 1991), MSc (Montreal, 1998) and PhD (Montreal, 2002) in nursing, he completed a CIHR post-doctoral fellowship in health care, technology and place at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Social Work (2003). Professor Dave Holmes holds the University Research Chair in Forensic Nursing.
